Polices on Human Rights and Social Accountability

Apparel Avenue Co., Ltd. Has been Conduction its business of ready-made garments under an ISO-9002 quality management and an ISO14001 environmental management. The executive members are committed to bringing about excellence in all aspects. Thus, every staff member has been regarded as valued assets to be decently treated. Therefore, please be informed of its policies as follow;

1. No labor under 15 years old shall be hired.

2. No labor shall be hired by force or through coercion.

3. Safe and hygienic workplace and dormitory as will as accident prevention system shall be guaranteed for ht staff.

4. Rights of the staff to unit into lawful bodies shall be respected

5. No discrimination against skin colors, races, religions, ages, nationalities ,disabilities or political affiliations shall be adopted.

6. No physical punishment, mental cruelty, or humiliation shall be practiced.

7. Applicable laws concerning working hours, overtime hours, and weekly day off shall be strictly observed. 8. At least minimum wages imposed by labor laws shall be paid to the staff.

9. Apparel Avenue Co.,Ltd. is committed to making quality products with no environmental impacts through performances of the staff each of whom is to be decently treated and granted right provided by Thai Laws, other applicable laws, as well as SA8000 (9.lc)

10. Apparel Avenue Co., Ltd. Is committed to continuously bettering working lives of the staff as well as other related aspects deemed necessary (9.lc)

11. Every staff member and involved outsider shall be informed of ways of conduct to be accessible to all involved.

12. The policies, work rules, and regulations shall be from time to time reviewed and updated in accordance with laws and circumstances then existing

 

Code of Conduct

Apparel Avenue Co.,Ltd

Apparel Avenue Co., Ltd. Is determined to conduct its business with strong social accountability as well as to strengthen business alliance with manufactures, distributors, contractors, and sub-contractors in order to ensure that its code of conduct be strictly observed Apparel Avenue Co., Ltd. is anticipates strict observance by its business ventures of the code of conduct as follow;

1. Child Labor No child labor under 15 years old shall be hired. As for child labors aged between 15 and 18 years old, labors laws and related rules and rules and regulations shall be strictly observed.

2. Forced Labor/Coerced Labor No forced or coerced labor shall be hired. This includes those imprisoned, detained or physically abused.

3. Hygiene and Safety Safe and hygienic workplace and dormitory (if any ) as well as accident prevention system, shall be guaranteed.

4. Affiliation At will Rights of staffs in affiliating themselves with any lawful organizations shall be respected.

5. Discrimination No discrimination against skin colors, religions, nationalities, genders, gender viewpoints, disabilities or political affiliations shall be adopted. In hiring, rewarding, or evaluating a person, his or her performances shall be primary point of Code of Conduct For Business Ventures of Apparel Avenue Co.,Ltd.

6. Cruel Acts The staff shall be treated with dignity and respect. No physical or sexual harassment, mental, cruelty, verbal assaults, or physical attacks shall occur.

7. Working and Overtime Hours The staff shall, as imposed by laws, work for no longer than 48 regular working hours and 12 overtime hours per week. Additionally, they shall have 1 day-off per week.

8. Wages As a basic for will-being, the staff shall be paid no less than the minimum, wages imposed by labor laws so that their basic needs can be satisfied.

Furthermore, the business ventures of Apparel Avenue Co., Ltd. shall cooperate in access activities of review and inspection, whether for the interest of Apparel Avenue Co., Ltd. Or its own, including requested evaluation in the future. Besides, the business ventures shall be ready to correct any non-conformances and report truthful information to Apparel Avenue Co.,Ltd.

Posting Apparel Avenue Co., Ltd.'s business ventures as will as their own ventures shall post this Code of Conduct at a noticeable spot in their workplaces.
